Man Hospitalised Following Machete Attack

Independent.ie is reporting that a man was attacked with what he believes was a machete in Dundalk last night.

The 34-year-old man received serious injuries to his chest area when another man assaulted him on the Dublin Road at approximately 11pm last night.

Gardaí are investigating and trying to identify and locate the attacker.

Gardaí in Dundalk are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them.
